Angela has been teaching for nearly 10 years as a tutor, teaching assistant, and teaching fellow. As a college freshman, Angela founded The Every Child Project (TECP), a student organization that connects free tutors with K-12 students from underserved communities. During her tenure as president, TECP served over 250 students and held a virtual STEM summer camp where students learned how to design and present their own science fair projects. Angela tutored students 1-on-1 in math, language arts, Spanish, and organic chemistry. Angela also served as a teaching assistant for college-level genetics and physics (Electricity and Magnetism).

Upon graduation, Angela was awarded a prestigious Fulbright Award to teach English in Spain for a year. There, she  helped design and implement lesson plans on English language skills for 14 different sections of middle and high school students. She also gave private lessons in English and in both areas received overwhelmingly positive feedback on her teaching methods from parents and fellow teachers.

Outside of teaching, Angela is a health equity researcher, avid language learner, and loving older sister.
